The aim of our Practice is excellent
quality family medical care provided
by three surgery teams communicating
and co-operating across the
Practice.
Management of clinical care should
use proven methods based on evidence
where available, and be able to
change when appropriate. This
implies a permanent willingness to
learn, consider and share new ideas
and regularly review our methods of
clinical care and practice
management.
The quality of the Practice depends
on the high standards of all those
who work in it, and how we look
after each other. We need to be
involved yet detached, confident yet
sensitive, reliable yet adaptable –
the Practice motto is “Professional
Yet Personal”.
The context in which the Practice
functions continues to change
rapidly and the introduction of the
new GMS contract has contributed to
the dynamic environment we find
ourselves working within.
We live in a world of plural values:
needs, wants, demands and higher
expectations. The Partners must set
core values and they should lead by
example. Our Partnership makes
decisions by consensus requiring
flexibility and understanding from
each Partner.
Practice staff should be involved in
decision making, where appropriate,
and all should feel valued and
respected for their opinions. We are
all responsible for the culture and
philosophy of the Practice.
